I took a soup, small baguette and a drink. The soup with vegetables and meat was verz tasty and a bit spicy. Baguette was good, but not very special in my opinion. Staff is friendly and they can suggest you what to take. All in all good food for a nice price (1850 Ft).

They only accept cash!The food tastes delicious, clean street style food, mostly cheapThey serve special soup daily, ask about the ingredients and they will explain in English, the soup is served very fast in a cup, very delicious. Recommended They have 4-5 types of sandwiches that have normal or half portion. They get ready around 10 minsCons: only 4 chairs are in that small congested place, try to grab your food and eat outside, because you have to wait a lot for a chair.They only accept Hungarian money in cash and if u don’t have that, you have to get it from the ATM in front of the bistro, which charges you like 50% more!!! So bring cash with urself.

There was a huge crowd when I was coming in, but the line moved quickly.Food was tasty and hearty, the soup was especially great for winter. The pasta portion was Huge.Service was excellent, the guy taking orders kindly translated the soup menu for me and the overall vibe was top notch.

My favorite lunch spot in budapest. Cool little interior, they bump awesome rap from around the world. They chant with every order they take. The sandwiches are amazing and fresh. The soda is homemade on the spot. Highly recommend it

The sandwiches here are AMAZING! We always look for the cheap gems of the city, and this is definitely one of them. The atmosphere is so fun and high energy! Because this place is so good, it's usually packed, so finding a seat is a bit of a challenge. The line goes down quick, so if it's packed, don't be intimidated. We loved the BBQ pork sandwich and ginger elderflower drink. The blueberry and black currant drink was also amazing! We went in the summer, so we avoided the soups, all though they looked absolutely delicious.

Not the cheapest food in Budapest and it really shouldn't be! Fair price (1300 huf for the big one), delicious, fast service and nice place!!

Everything here is fantastic. You need it! The soup is phenomenal, the stuffed baguette/sandwiches are to die for. The prices are excellent. The place has a line up pretty much all the time, but things move at a reasonable pace. A must-try for Budapest!

Awesome street food place to visit with a Star Wars theme. Workers are happy and speak good english and the vibe is really chill. No place to sit and busy but I saw that as a good sign because people kept on visiting. Baguette was very tasty and I enjoyed the rap music they played.

This place is great! The vibe inside is young and hip, with a nerdy (star wars) flair. I had an amazing chicken sandwich and squash soup for a really affordable price. The service was fast, friendly and helpful. I will come back for sure!

Special soups, delicious baguettes, unique service. However, special soups tend to be strange, with some confusing flavours, but the overcrowded shop is the biggest issue. By the time you get your order, you already hate the small area inside and wish you would have never entered. If you don't get confused by this, this place is certainly a must to try out.

The most delicious soups and baguettes in Budapest at an affordable price. Laid-back atmosphere with cool music playing in the background and nice people behind the counter. Probably the only reason I'm nostalgic for my university years is that I could have lunch here at least once a week.

The food is great especially the sandwiches! the design in my opinion is very beautiful. The only reason for the 4 star rating is That they don’t accept any card or other currency than HUF.

I can now understand the reviews. Amazing choices. We had homemade lemonade; options from ginger to strawberry. We had the raspberry and mint - INCREDIBLE. We also had the butternut squash soup which was incredible. The two items only came to 1000HUF. Amazing value too. Everyone laughing inside, the guys spoke perfect English and joked around lot. Great atmosphere.

The pumpkin soup is so delicious that I came here several times when I was in Budapest. The sandwiches is awesome as well. The staff is energetic and friendly. Cheap price with high quality food and service.

The food here is very very good. The soups are warm and hearty on a cold day, and their sandwiches are really tasty as well. The variety in food is amazing. The Angry Bird Baguette was definitely the best one out of the ones we had. Among the soups, the pumpkin soup was very tasty. The best part was the enthusiasm and energy that the chefs had. Every time they got a new order, they would shout out, which made the experience of waiting for food more exciting. It can be very busy sometimes so make sure you come a little early!

I ended up coming here twice. It's basically a fine-dining kitchen making a delicious assortment of soups and sandwiches, and they're incredibly good at it. The soups are super creamy and hearty, and the sandwiches manage to fit a surprising amount of food in them for their average size.The atmosphere inside is trendy but at the same time rigorous. As your order is called out, you hear a military style acknowledgement in unison of the whole team. It's really really cool.It's definitely worth it.

One thing I like about this street food kitchen is the fact that they haven’t changed their menu of sandwiches. They have been selling the same sandwiches for the past 3-4 years as long as I have been visiting them. They do what they are good at. No nonsense baguette sandwiches at a reasonable price. Keep it up guys

Visited Budapest in August 2019 and stopped by this place with some friends. Wow. Sandwich was amazing and only cost about 950 HUF (~3EUR). The bread was absolutely perfect. This is a must in Budapest without a doubt.

Always crowded. Delicious food. And something which totally surprised me: payment is cash only, I had the banknotes which are not in use anymore. The guy told me it's not a problem, I gave the valid one I had and paid less then the bill. Exceptional.

Incredible place, possibly the best street food in Budapest. I recommend it to everyone who comes to the city. Daily selection of unbelievable soups: sweet, salty, cheesy, vegetable, cake (soup!), fruit, meat, curry and so many more variations. All this complemented with their gourmet stuffed baguettes and a very reasonable price. Have I said that they love the Star Wars? What else can you ask for?

Always loved this place but no more. Asked for a sandwich without cheese as I can’t eat that and was told all sandwiches are pre prepared and so they cant change ingredients. Fresh food? You’re kidding.

Nice place to taste street food in Budapest

Usually there's a huge line of people waiting to place their orders, but with few tourists at the moment, it's worth stopping by to grab some of their delicious sandwiches. If you've not been before, they're definitely worth trying.

BEST STREET FOOD EVER. It is written street food doesnt mean fast food, but still didn't have to wait that long. Soup was given instantly, and while the soups are not written in English, we asked for the server's selection, and had something amazing. The baguette sandwiches are out of this world, and we will absolutely go back there if we go again to Budapest.

I really love this place. I had so many memories with this cute street food’ers 😄 once the cashier said “thanks sir, for your trust in my taste” after I discussed with him what to eat.And once, we did not have enough cash to eat additional sandwiches after we eat our soups. The cashier kindly insisted us to order sandwiches, and mentioned that we may come and pay whenever we have cash.So, nothing to say more. I guess many restaurants should learn from them how to have the perfect service and food!

The sandwiches are good but not special, I was surprised and delighted to find that the soup was the highlight of the meal, I devoured a carrot and coconut soup and I can safely say it was the best soup I have ever eaten.

This place is the best place I found in Budapest. Although it has no tables or chairs to sit in, and the place is pretty small, the food is delicious: they make soups and baguettes and they are DELICIOUS! Fairly cheap. Vegan options. It gets pretty crowded. They are fast and it's funny that they periodically shout something to encourage them to keep going. I loved the place. We repeated.

One of my Friends shown me this streetfood wonder not long ago, and i have to say these guys are really living up to their fame. Soups...soups are incredible. They serve heavy cream soups, hot and cold, salt and sweet, and they are full of good stuff. If you are not a soup guys, try theirs and you become one.Baguettes. When i visited the first time, i thought i've made mistake by ordering the smaller / half baguette because i seemed small. Yeah, then i almost cannot have it in one go, because its so full of good stuff. I'm not a big eater but a hot soup with a half baguette is a killer combo for me.All this, for a really fair price! Pay them a visit you'r not going to regret it.

Great street food! Warming and delicious soups in a cup are great to warm you up on the go! The atmosphere there is great! We're leaving Buda today and planning to go there one last time to grab a cup of soup! IGEN! :)

This place does soups and sandwiches so dang well! It is on the go so don't really expect to sit down and eat but that's ok since the food is served for eating while walking, biking, skipping... swimming, rock climbing, running from the cops, or general waywardness.Try to match a soup that complements yours sandwich so when you dip it in the soup it creates a new flavor profile. I mean if your not eating a sandwich this way then why even bother?
